Our client is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing outpatient care team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment that serves individuals of all backgrounds and ages.
Supporting two providers, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care through education, care coordination, and clinical support. Whether you're an experienced nurse or a new graduate, this organization offers a welcoming environment where your voice is valued and professional growth is encouraged.
Responsibilities
Support two providers with daily clinical operations.
Conduct routine nursing visits and patient assessments.
Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and disease management.
Coordinate referrals and follow up on laboratory results.
Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations.
Administer medication injections and other prescribed treatments.
Perform basic telephone and in-office triage.
Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks).
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
Float to another clinic location on rare occasions when additional support is needed.
Qualifications
Required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Patient-focused mindset with a compassionate approach to care.
Comfortable caring for a diverse patient population across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
Outpatient or primary care experience.
Infusion experience is a plus but not required.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
