Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Warrensburg Manor Care Center, a unique skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients in a calm and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate and complete documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary information for proper coding and billing
• Conduct assessments of patient's medical conditions and develop care plans
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between healthcare team members, patients, and families
• Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and guidelines
• Perform utilization management activities to optimize patient care and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and treatment plans

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of patient care practices and documentation review processes
• Familiarity with primary care, Medicare regulations, and coding systems (ICD-9)
• Experience in pediatrics or nursing home settings is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation purposes
• On call rotation
