About this role

The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans & provides professional nursing services & standards of practice in accordance with level of experience & education, state board of nursing & established policies & procedures. The RN integrates the art, science, leadership & knowledge of the nursing clinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical & respectful direct / indirect healthcare services. Unit: Joint and Spine Unit.

Employment Type: Full-time / 36 hours weekly. Shift: Day Shift; 7 am - 7 pm. The Joint Commission has deemed the Joint and Spine Center at Holy Cross hospital as a Center of Excellence since 2015. Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (American Heart Association). At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting; rehab/surgical experience highly preferred.

  • Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. Competency in electronic patient management systems. At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting; rehab/surgical experience highly preferred.
