The RN integrates the art, science, leadership & knowledge of the nursing clinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical & respectful direct / indirect healthcare services.

Position Purpose
The Joint Commission has deemed the Joint and Spine Center at Holy Cross hospital as a Center of Excellence since 2015. We have an opening for an engaged experienced Nurse who focuses on patient education and clinical outcomes. You would be a member of collaborative multi-disciplinary team of Surgeons, OT/PT and Case Managers who strive for excellence in care.
As a Registered Nurse You Will
Effectively communication with the patient, family and healthcare team Provide education to post-surgical Joint & Spine patients Interfaces regularly OT/PT/Case Management to enhance the patient experience and transition patients to home setting (admission/discharges/transfers) Ability to collaborate with patient in the proper management of pain

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. Competency in electronic patient management systems. At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting; rehab/surgical experience highly preferred.

Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
