About this role
Registered Nurse/Nurse Resident - Neuro Stroke Unit - 24 hours per week - 12 hour day shift. Part-Time Benefit Eligible. Shift: Days 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with alternating weekend schedule. Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. 30 bed unit specializing in neuro patients including stroke/stroke-like symptoms, seizure, brain bleeds, and other neuro type diagnosis.

Requirements
- BSN preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Health care provider certification (BCLS/BLS)
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
