About this role
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Oncology/Infusion Center, providing safe, patient-centered care to adult oncology patients.
Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment responses and side effects.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
Ensure safety standards and hazardous drug protocols are followed.
Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
Provide direct care, perform assessments, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid state RN license and BLS certification.
Oncology Nursing Certification and BSN preferred.
Experience in oncology or acute care (2+ years) is advantageous.
Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
