The Night/Weekend Registered Nurse consults with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions are achieved. The Registered Nurse meets with each client, completes a daily assessment, and administers all prescription medication. The Registered Nurse is responsible for carrying out any orders received from the physician and psychiatrist and reports information to the Nurse Manager, Clinical Program Director, Director of Advanced Practice Provider. This position is for Part-time/PRN nurses with availability for day/night/weekend.

Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree in Nursing required
  • Behavioral Health and/or Eating Disorder experience preferred
  • Maintains up-to-date, applicable State of Alabama and/or National licenses or certifications
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with the LGBTQ community preferred
  • Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
  • Must possess valid government ID
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends
