Job Description Job Description: The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team at Eisenhower Center, a Specialized Residential setting focused on the rehabilitation and habilitation of individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), Mental Illness (MI), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The RN/LPN will provide high-quality care, support, and medical oversight to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being. Role and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents with TBI, I/DD, MI, and ASD. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and assess residents' health status, identifying any changes or concerns. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the facility treatment team. Educate residents and facility direct care staff about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care. Participate in care team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents. Assist with daily living activities and promote a safe and supportive environment. Qualifications: Required: Current and valid RN or LPN license in Michigan. Required: Minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting. Advanced proficiency in documentation requirements. Experience working with individuals with TBI, I/DD, MI, and ASD. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in nursing care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
