Position Summary
The Medical Day Care (MDC) Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and regulatory compliance of the hospital-based Pediatric Medical Day Care program. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and family-centered services for medically complex pediatric patients in accordance with facility policies, New Jersey Department of Health Pediatric Medical Day Care regulations, applicable state and federal standards, and organizational practices. #V1
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees daily operations of the Pediatric Medical Day Care program and staff Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards Coordinates interdisciplinary services including nursing, therapy, and support services Oversees staffing, scheduling, orientation, education, and competency validation Supports quality improvement, survey readiness, and performance initiatives Maintains effective communication with families, physicians, leadership, and community partners Supports operational and financial performance of the program Promotes a safe, collaborative, and family-centered care environment
Schedule & Compensation
Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday
Compensation
$90,000 – $100,000 annually Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
