The RN Unit Manager is responsible for providing and overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, facility policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Unit Manager provides clinical leadership and supervision for licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, medication aides, and other nursing personnel while promoting resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Also serves as Treatment Nurse providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician.

Requirements

  • RN License - currently licensed and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations
  • CMS regulatory compliance
  • HIPAA compliance
  • OSHA safety standards
  • Clinical leadership and supervision experience
  • MDS/RAI process experience
