About this role
Westover Job Corps Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to support the health, wellness, and success of our students. As a key member of the Health and Wellness team, the RN helps create a safe, healthy, and supportive environment where students can thrive academically, personally, and professionally. The Registered Nurse assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating student-centered health and wellness services that promote student retention, achievement, and overall well-being. The RN provides direct nursing care, health education, case management support, and emergency response services while fostering a culture of health and safety across the center.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare standards, and patient care procedures
- Understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA requirements
- Proficiency with electronic records and Microsoft Office applications
