As a School Nurse with Interim HealthCare® Staffing, you will be a trusted caregiver, mentor, and advocate, ensuring the health and well-being of students every day. Your nurturing presence will provide reassurance and support, creating a safe and caring school environment where students can thrive. Our School Nurses enjoy: Competitive Pay - $36/hr Flexible scheduling to maintain work-life balance & enjoyment of free weekends!! Monday-Friday, 7:30a-2:30p for the 2026/2027 school year Diverse work environments - from elementary setting Professional development opportunities, including CEUs and online training Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University As a School Nurse (RN), you will: Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being A few must-haves for School Nurses: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Indiana Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing Current CPR certification Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with students, staff, and families Why join Interim HealthCare Staffing?
