Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care - Full Time

Role Overview The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient advocacy, safety, and satisfaction. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through council involvement. Key Responsibilities Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care following policies and procedures. Communicate and coordinate patient care, prioritize daily workflows, and document assessments and interventions accurately. Respond to patient concerns, serve as an educational resource, and promote patient- and family-centered care. Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support professional growth, mentorship, and leadership within the team. Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and participate in organizational initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Certifications: BLS, ACLS (or equivalent), required upon hire. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
