Registered Nurse - SANE - Per Diem

Role: Registered Nurse for SANE Program, providing specialized care to adult and adolescent sexual assault survivors. Responsibilities: Conducts medical forensic exams, head-to-toe assessments, anogenital examinations, forensic specimen collection, and photographic documentation. Offers compassionate, non-judgmental care in emergency or inpatient settings, collaborating with medical staff, law enforcement, advocates, and legal teams. Participates in meetings for compliance, peer review, and training, and may attend courtroom proceedings related to cases. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current Illinois RN licensure. Certified in AA SANE training or approved certification. Experience in forensic nursing preferred. Computer literacy or willingness to train in Epic. Key Duties: Perform forensic nursing duties, ensure compliance with standards, collaborate with various agencies, and maintain documentation. Must work a minimum of 16 hours on-call per schedule.
