About this role

Show full description
Responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of occupational health services in accordance with hospital policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations. Reports to the Director of Nursing. Oversees daily occupational health operations ensuring compliance with OSHA, CDC, TJC, and other regulatory standards. Coordinates employee health services including immunizations, TB screening, N95 fit testing, flu/COVID clinics. Manages work-related injury and illness cases. Leads occupational health quality improvement and prevention initiatives. Collaborates with hospital departments and external partners to develop policies, training, orientation materials, and safety programs.

Requirements

  • RN License
  • National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) passed
  • Current active full and unrestricted professional nurse license
  • RN License
  • National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) passed
  • Current active full and unrestricted professional nurse license
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree or PhD from accredited professional nursing educational program
  • 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-9 grade level
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Selective Service Registration for males born after 12/31/1959
  • Background investigation
