Registered Nurse - Full-Time 12-Hour Day Shift

Role: Registered Nurse responsible for assessing residents' health, developing and updating personalized care plans, and ensuring safe delivery of nursing interventions.

Key Duties

Conduct accurate assessments of residents' health, educational, and environmental needs upon admission and regularly thereafter. Communicate significant health changes to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and document assessments thoroughly. Create and revise dynamic, individualized care plans involving physicians, residents, families, and staff.

Implement nursing interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately. Use critical thinking to respond to residents' condition changes and notify physicians using SBARR communication. Monitor care delivery, identify issues, and utilize QAPI processes for immediate resolution.

Assist with resident care activities, answer call lights, and support residents' ADLs. Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Licensed RN with education from an accredited nursing program. Current RN license in the applicable state. CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months). Critical thinking and excellent communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and physical ability to assist residents and handle equipment safely. Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and ability to perform documentation electronically and in writing.
