About this role
The Team Nurse delivers patient care through phone triage, provides general nursing support, carries out the instructions of the medical provider, and works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Essential duties include screening patients' phone messages for triage, calling patients to relay physician instructions, inspecting medical records for completeness, escorting patients to exam rooms and obtaining vital signs, assisting physician with diagnostic procedures and treatment, scheduling appointments/referrals/admissions, and performing patient teaching and nursing checks.
