About this role

Turing is looking for candidates who have solid experience in nursing care, patient assessment, and clinical documentation, particularly at the level expected for licensed registered nurses working in hospital or outpatient care settings. Role Overview: In this role, you will be working on projects to help fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using your clinical expertise and healthcare knowledge. No prior AI experience is required. These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to advance your field by improving clinical reasoning, decision support, and patient communication. What Does Day-to-Day Look Like: Design and solve real-world nursing and patient-care scenarios to test AI reasoning. Write clear, structured explanations covering patient triage, treatment planning, care coordination, and nursing protocols. Collaborate with AI researchers to help models better understand medical terminology, documentation standards, and clinical judgment. Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, clinical soundness, and adherence to evidence-based care models. Requirements:

You bring hospital-honed clinical judgment to a laptop, not a med room. At Turing, remote RN contractors help fine-tune AI and large language models: you design nursing and patient-care scenarios, write triage and care explanations, and score whether the model’s…

What reviewers appreciate

  • Fully remote contractor work with flexible hours
  • Clinical judgment used on AI/LLM scenario design, triage writing, and accuracy review—not bedside care
  • No prior AI experience required

What reviewers flag

  • Inconsistent project availability can create gaps in workload and income
  • Limited career advancement and job stability reported on contract roles
  • Reviewers describe micromanagement, poor communication, and transparency issues
