Lawrence Street Health Care Center is looking for an experienced *Registered Nurse (RN)* to serve as our *Weekend Supervisor*. We're seeking two dedicated RNs to rotate weekend coverage, providing consistent leadership and clinical oversight every Saturday and Sunday.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff during weekend shifts
  • Ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Assess residents, respond to changes in condition, and assist with clinical decision-making
  • Coordinate care with the Director of Nursing, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Mentor, coach, and support nurses and CNAs to promote teamwork and accountability
  • Monitor staffing, workflow, and resident safety throughout the shift
  • Complete accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Promote infection prevention, resident rights, and a culture of compassionate, resident-centered care

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • At least one year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
  • Passion for providing exceptional care to seniors
