About this role
RAMC is looking for a Per Diem Medical Assistant, CMA or LPN to join us at our Physicians Group Clinic!
Monday - Friday
7AM-6PM (Times could Vary)
Position Summary
Organizes the aspects of care and provides direct care to the Clinic outpatients as directed by the medical specialty treating those patients.
Education and Training Required
Graduated from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted, if applicable
CMA certification through AMAA or CCMA , LPN or RN Licensure required.
BLS certified.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Works in a clinic patient environment with appropriate technological support.
Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a calm manner.
Requires decision-making and problem solving skills.
Organizational skills.
Interacts professionally in a timely fashion with patients who need medical assistance in the clinic or on the telephone.
Completes work in a timely fashion avoiding overtime. Documents this correctly. This includes referral appointments, EHR documentation, faxes, consults, nursing procedures performed, charges for billing etc.
Knowledgeable in assisting providers with procedures/exams and further testing of patients.
Responsible for legal, concise documentation in the EHR.
Participates in professional and educational growth offered by the organization.
Responsible for following clinic polices/procedures.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
