Position Overview The Assistant Director of Nursing works alongside the Director of Nursing to guide and support our clinical team. This role blends leadership with hands-on clinical insight, ensuring our patients receive high-quality, compassionate care while our nurses feel confident, supported, and heard. What You'll Do * Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of compassion and excellence * Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations * Ensure hospice care is delivered in compliance with Medicare and state regulations * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical chart reviews * Provide guidance with admissions, care planning, and complex patient situations * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient-centered care * Serve as a trusted clinical resource for staff and leadership * Participate in on-call rotation as needed What We're Looking For * Active RN license in Texas * Hospice experience required * Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Strong understanding of hospice regulations and clinical best practices * A compassionate leader who communicates clearly and leads by example * A heart for hospice and supporting both patients and care teams What We Offer * Competitive compensation * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off (PTO) * A supportive leadership team that values work-life balance * An opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day Pay: From $95,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
