Job Overview

The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies to support safe and efficient patient care. The role assists anesthesia providers during surgical procedures, ensures anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment are clean and functioning properly, and maintains adequate inventory of anesthesia-related supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, check, and maintain anesthesia machines, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Assist anesthesia providers with the setup and use of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
  • Ensure anesthesia equipment is clean, properly sterilized, calibrated, and functioning safely.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent – required
  • Anesthesia Technician certification – preferred
  • Experience with anesthesia equipment, surgical procedures, and patient-monitoring equipment – required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification – required
  • Epic EMR experience - required

Contract & Pay Details

  • Contract Type: Local/Travel both candidate are accepted
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
  • On-Call: Not required
