Inova Fairfax Hospital is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Psychiatry Unit on the day shift. This is a full-time position with a 3 x 12-hour shift schedule (7:00 am to 7:30 pm). We welcome acute care Registered Nurses who are enthusiastic about working with the psychiatric patient population and are eager to make a positive impact in this specialty.

Requirements

Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree (if Associate's, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date)
Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred
Previous medical nursing experience in an acute care setting with an adult patient population preferred
