Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical knowledge and supervisory experience to lead an amazing team of clinicians as their Director of Clinical Operations. Responsibilities
Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by interdisciplinary team members with the Clinical Team Coordinator. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine patient/family care plans, encouraging the exchange of insights, resolution of challenges, and nurturing professional camaraderie. Responsible for the selection, supervision, and evaluation of interdisciplinary team members.
Ensures documentation of services is accurate and timely. Promotes and monitors compliance with requirements and standards established by accrediting or licensing agencies, regulatory agencies and state or federal law relevant to areas of responsibility. Collaborates with Compliance Department to assess staff education needs, create educational content and implement accordingly.
Regularly visits contracted facilities to maintain good working relationships, provide education and support. Monitors and reviews monthly bills, supply costs, expense requests, mileage reimbursement, payroll and other expenses.

Qualifications
Licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of agency operation Must have a valid drivers' license with reliable transportation and liability insurance A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care in hospice, home health or community health, and a minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of end-of-life care with expertise in crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, clinical bedside nursing, and family counseling Demonstrated ability to execute a supportive, sensitive approach to staff and patient/family needs, including tactful service recovery/complaint resolution
