Job Requirements
The Specialty Team Leader is a registered nurse who provides ongoing clinical operations support for a designated specialty service within the Operating Room setting. The Specialty Team Leader works collaboratively with physicians and their offices, the perioperative leadership, other clinicians, and ancillary departments to accomplish the essential functions of the job. They assume ownership for the specialty and the service they provide, as well as, serve as a resource to other team members and staff regarding that particular specialty.

- Meets licensing requirements to practice registered nursing in the State of Maryland.

- Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local professional requirements. Bachelor’s preferred.
- CNOR eligible (preferred, when eligible).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty preferred. Proficiently scrubs and circulates in designated specialty.
The employee in this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the age of the patients served. He/she must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/here age-specific needs, and to provide the necessary care as described in the department's policies and procedures.

Compensation
Pay Range: $42.24-$60.71
