Grifols is seeking a Center Medical Specialist for a plasma donation center in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations and establishing medical history to determine donor suitability, building rapport with donors, ensuring donor and staff confidentiality, providing donor education and counseling regarding test results, evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events, performing evaluations of illness or medication history, assisting in employee training, and administering the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. $5000 New Employee Bonus. Salary is based on licensure and experience.
Requirements
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocation Nurse
- Current CPR certification required
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing and sitting for up to 2-4 hours per day each
- Hearing acuity essential
- Color perception/discrimination, near vision and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and to 20/100 in the other eye
