About this role
Eastern Shawnee Staffing Solutions (ESSS), in partnership with the Indian Health Service (IHS), is seeking two experienced Pediatric Inpatient Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the healthcare team at Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) in Shiprock, New Mexico. Long-term contract providing compassionate, high-quality care to pediatric patients while serving Native American communities in a mission-driven healthcare environment. Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (Days or Nights), 36/48-hour biweekly schedule.
Contract length: Minimum 6 months up to 1 year with extension options. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized pediatric patients, individualized patient care plans, medication/IV administration, patient monitoring, family education, and EHR documentation. Requires ADN or BSN, active unrestricted RN license, 2-3 years RN experience, 2+ years recent inpatient pediatric experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, EHR experience.
Federal credentialing process may take up to 90 days.
