Summary Responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, managing a diverse patient caseload, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and best practices. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and history-taking, to identify patient needs and conditions. Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Coordinate with other departments, such as pharmacy and laboratory, to ensure timely and effective patient care. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Experience Experience in clinical nursing 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant healthcare technologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
