American House Senior Living Communities is looking for a Medical Technician (Med Tech) who is dependable and committed to providing exceptional care to older adults. If you love supporting seniors and want to work in a positive, team‑focused environment, we'd love to meet you!

Position Summary

As a Med Tech, you will provide residents with safe and accurate medication administration, support with daily living needs, and exceptional hospitality—all in alignment with American House’s commitment to Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence .

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications accurately and document all administration per MAR and physician orders
  • Maintain medication cart security and complete narcotic counts each shift
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to wellness leadership
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
  • Occasional support of dining services, housekeeping tasks, and resident activities

Qualifications

  • Compassion for older adults and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
