Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, located in Kansas City MO is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse for their Neuro OR. This is a nationally recognized top performing team and a leader in healthcare. This team offers a premier neurosurgical center in the region, treating more aneurysms than any other Kansas City area hospital. This is a great opportunity to work the latest technology and procedures.

As a nurse in our Neuro Operating Room you will circulate a variety of cases. This position requires flexibility and dependability and is responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.

This position includes call coverage. The call response time is 30 minutes.

The Work

The Neuro Registered Nurse in Surgery is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. safety and efficiency.

Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
