About this role
Are you a Registered Nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team? Our busy gastroenterology clinic is looking for an exceptional RN who is compassionate, organized, dependable and committed to providing outstanding patient care.
This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys the clinical side of nursing but is also looking for work life balance and a predictable Monday thru Friday schedule in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
Provide professional, compassionate nursing care to gastroenterology patients Assess patient needs and communicate concerns to providers Perform telephone triage and respond to patient questions and concerns Review test and procedure results and communicate provider recommendations to patients Coordinate follow up care, testing, procedures and referrals Provide patient education Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Work collaboratively with the entire gastroenterology team to provide an excellent patient experience Can prioritize multiple patient needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Understands the importance of confidentiality and HIPAA
Previous gastroenterology or outpatient clinic experience is a plus, but great nurses from other clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Current Registered Nurse licensure is required.
