Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement. Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting. Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decisioning to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions. Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care. Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures. Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: KY license, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
  • Cath lab experience
  • Experience working with cardiac care patients
  • BLS Certification
  • RN License
