Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN; State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); 1 year of nursing experience; Must obtain certification in specialty within one year of advancing to UEXCEL Level III RN; Must retain certification in specialty; BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card
