BayCare Health System

Formed in 1997 by a core group of local hospitals, BayCare has grown into an integrated system operating 16 hospitals and hundreds of locations throughout the Tampa Bay region. The system includes hospitals, homecare services, behavioral health, laboratories, medical group practices, outpatient imaging, surgery centers, and urgent care facilities. BayCare is one of the largest private employers in the Tampa Bay area with approximately 33,000 to 34,000 team members and reports a $10 billion annual economic impact on the region and state.
