We are searching for an Inpatient Registered Nurse in our West Campus Diagnostic Imaging Department - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care that incorporates family-centered principles and cost-effective care. Job Duties & Responsibilities include assisting in the collection of patient/family data, collecting and documenting vital signs, preparing patients for examination, assisting provider during treatments and testing, administering medication and immunizations, providing patient/family education, coordinating referrals, triaging patient complaints, collecting and processing specimens, and demonstrating service philosophies to patients and families. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements
RN License - Texas Board of Nursing
Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Bachelor's degree in nursing or Associate degree in nursing/related field accepted by Texas Board of Nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement, or Technical Diploma in Nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement, or currently enrolled in a Nursing Bridge Program working toward an MSN with verified BSN-equivalency or signed agreement. RN License – Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact. Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required. 9 Months Professional Nursing Experience Required. Preferred experience: radiology/diagnostic imaging, acute care, ICU, and pediatrics.
