Solaris HealthCare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team!: Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive wound assessments including wound measurements and documentation. * Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with wounds. * Perform wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement and other necessary interventions. * Educate patients and their families on wound care, preventions strategies, and overall health maintenance. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care treatments and adjust plans as necessary. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. * Stay current with best practices, evidence based protocols and new technologies in wound care. * Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care policies and procedures. * Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on wound care management. Qualifications: * Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. * Wound Care Certification strongly preferred. * Skilled Nursing Experience preferred. * 2+ years of Experience in Wound Care preferred. * Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. * Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development. Working Conditions: * Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials and other conditions found in healthcare setting. * Must be able to lift and move patients as needed. * May require standing, walking moving for extended periods.:
