About this role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital | Texsan to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The unit is a 30 bed medical/surgical ICU specializing in cardiovascular surgical care with a patient to nurse ratio of 2:1. Nationally recognized Beacon Award winning unit for Nursing Excellence. The ICU offers the opportunity and educational resources to become certified in Critical Care plus a bonus each year you maintain the certification.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • One (1) year of critical care experience as a licensed Registered Nurse preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
