Sentara is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) at Norfolk General Hospital's special Level Up Program for the Level I Emergency Department in partnership with the Medical Specialties unit. This is an opportunity for new Grad RNs seeking to land in the Emergency Department (ED). The RN provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting, involving assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices. Full Time, Night shift (7p-7a).

Requirements

RN Degree REQUIRED
Virginia RN License REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90 days of hire
Prior RN experience PREFERRED
Emergency Department (ED) Passion NEEDED
New graduate RN
