Registered Nurse (RN) role within a secure correctional facility providing comprehensive, autonomous nursing care to a vulnerable, complex patient population. Duties include emergency response, intake screenings, managing acute and chronic conditions, triage, medication administration, chronic disease management, patient education, record-keeping, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Fixed night-shift schedule.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Clinical assessment capabilities, critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move comfortably during a 12-hour shift
Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical nursing experience (preferred)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (desired)
Prior experience in behavioral health, substance utilization programs, or correctional healthcare environments (desired)
