Hospice Aide
Job Status: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Coverage Area: Medina / Brunswick

Position
Summary:
The Hospice Aide reports to the Clinical Manager and is expected to function as a member of the health services team. The Home Health Aide is trained to provide personal care and related services in the home. The Hospice Aide is assigned to specific patients and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Staff Registered Nurse/Case Manager, the Supervising Therapist, and Clinical Manager.
Requirements
- Currently Certified as a STNA in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of Hospice Aide experience in a health care or home care setting
- CPR certification preferred, but not required
- Current driver's license with current automobile insurance and must have reliable transportation
- Excellent communications skills
- Compliant with accepted standards and practices
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of providing patient care, ambulating patients, transferring patients, assisting with exercises, etc.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
