Manages the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) or function(s) to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Responsibilities include developing departmental goals, managing staff relations including performance management, scheduling, recruitment, payroll, monitoring budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, vendor relations, and assessing quality of patient care.

Requirements

Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing
Preferred: Master's degree in nursing or related field
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Relevant certification as determined at position level
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
3 years of progressive leadership experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of periop leadership experience
