Summary
Provides post-operative care for the complex surgical population.

Responsibilities
Assesses and intervenes appropriately to ensure positive outcomes during the post-operative phase. Monitors and cares for newly tracheostomies. Assesses and maintains wounds that require a wound vac and other complex wound management Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Assesses, manages and educates patient and families on new ostomies.
Requirements
RN license in state of assignment. BLS (AHA) required. Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
