PRN RN Infusion and Specialty Nurse/ Home Health

Job Summary HealthQuest has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic RN to work on PRN status. The primary function of the Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse is to provide exceptional in-home IV infusion therapy, nursing care, and response management. The candidate will have strong IV skills and be willing to travel throughout the Lufkin, Livingston, and Nacogdoches areas. Responsibilities and Duties As a Home Infusion nurse, you will: * Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in both our ambulatory infusion center and patient homes. * Care for patients by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home. * Administer and monitor patient's conditionin our infusion center or in the home and notify appropriate personnel of any changes. * Provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management and treatment of self-administration when appropriate. * Assuring proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. * Complete trainings for new/specialty infusion therapies * Provide patient clinical coordination in a variety of environments including patient's home, infusion suites, hospitals, and doctor offices. * Train patients in the self-administration of treatments and how to quickly recognize and respond to symptoms of adverse physical reactions to treatments. * Maintain open communication with your Regional Nurse Manager, Staffing Coordinator and other team members regarding scheduling, patient assignments and clinical matters. * Coordinate with your Regional Nurse Manager to address changes in patient condition or drug management issues. * Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process, and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools Qualifications and Skills * Current and unrestricted RN license in Texas * 2-5 years experience with a preference for home health experience * Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy or ER/ICU * Excellent IV skills * Valid driver's license in good standing * Reliable car/auto insurance * Clean background and criminal record * Current CPR card Work Remotely * No Job Type: Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
