Provides direct nursing care in settings where patients require complex assessments and intervention, in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities include collecting comprehensive data, triaging patients, analyzing assessment data, implementing care plans, evaluating progress, communicating effectively, and applying evidence-based practice to Emergency Nursing.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- No experience required
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider - AHA)
- RN License (Registered Nurse)
- ALS (Advanced Life Support - AHA)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course - ENA)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program - AAP)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA)
