Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psy or Registered Nurse 2 Psy, incumbents serve as members of a multidisciplinary team performing a variety of nursing and client care activities designed to ensure that clients receive all necessary care in accordance with the nursing care plan, established protocols, and standards of health care. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, health education, crisis intervention, maintaining reports and records, clinical supervision, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment in an addiction treatment center setting.
Requirements
Possession of a license and current registration to practice nursing in New York State
RN License
Eligibility and maintenance of eligibility for full and unconditional participation in Medicaid and Medicare programs
Criminal Background Check including State and federal Criminal History Record Checks
Screened against Staff Exclusion List (SEL) maintained by the Justice Center
Screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR)
Mandatory overtime is a requirement of this position
