About this role

We are hiring a Regional Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing leadership and support multiple skilled nursing facilities across Missouri. If you are a strong, experienced Director of Nursing (DON) looking to grow into a regional leadership role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and clinical support to Directors of Nursing at assigned skilled nursing facilities. Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in all locations. Monitor and support compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership teams to achieve clinical excellence. Lead quality improvement initiatives and assist facilities with audits, surveys, and operational goals. Collaborate with executive leadership on staffing, budgeting, and facility performance. Travel regularly to facilities within the assigned Missouri region.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (or Compact RN license)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care/skilled nursing
  • Regional or multi-site nursing leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and clinical operations

  • CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
