About this role
This position is responsible for overseeing, coordinating care and providing training to person served and support staff for those in our residential programs. While ensuring training, care plans and medications are updated to date and non-medical staff are proficient providing needed medical care to those served in our School/Day Treatment, and Adult Day Program. This includes supporting Medical Coordinators in administrative and operational responsibilities.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado with an active DORA license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred
Valid Colorado Driver's License with at least 5 years of driving experience, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Strong decision-making, communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare providers
