The Registered Nurse Ortho Unit provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, performing, teaching, and managing patient needs. Collaborating with medical teams, nurses ensure comprehensive care, monitor patient responses, administer medications, and educate patients and families about treatments and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions upon admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly. Perform ordered procedures, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately. Respond quickly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues efficiently. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, medications, and follow-up steps, translating complex information into understandable terms.

Qualifications & Skills

Registered Nurse (RN) license and diploma required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required. Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
