The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.

Requirements

Graduate of National League of Nursing accredited school of nursing
Current RN licensure in State
Minimum 1 year experience as a professional nurse within the last 3 years OR baccalaureate degree in nursing from NLN accredited program with current RN license
Minimum 2 years experience preferred, at least 1 in public health, home care, or hospice nursing
Hospice experience
In-home healthcare experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Mid-level experience
