The Registered Nurse (Specialty Care) is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care within the Specialty Care Outpatient Clinic at the Kernersville Healthcare Care Center, Kernersville, NC. Responsible for providing competent, evidence-based specialty care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Leads the provision of nursing care to patients with complex care needs utilizing the nursing process in alignment with the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing accredited by ACEN or CCNE
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Background/security investigation
  • Drug screening (urinalysis)
  • Annual TB screening or testing
  • Seasonal influenza vaccination program participation
